Coach Jorge began playing street football like many of the young boys in Brazil. He then went on to have a professional career at Corinthians Football Club. Soon, he was selected for the Brazil under-16 National Team playing with legend Ronaldo .

Afterwards, he had a professional career in the European Football Clubs and Pohang Steelers, a Korean Football Club. Currently, he is a professional coach in Hong Kong with extensive first aid and coaching qualifications.
